Welcome to the PlayATS home page, the best "Against The Spread" football pick game on the 'net!  The ATS pool is one of the most exciting football pools, it's been in action for more than 25 years, providing fame, fortune and some amazing prizes to our ever growing legion of ATS members!!  Ok, the big cash payouts are the major draw, but you get the idea.

The rules of ATS are simple. There are 17 18 weeks in the NFL season. You try to pick the winners of the pro football games each week, as well as the best college games on the board (against the spread, of course!). Veteran ATS members know the rules of the game, however, to those of you not familiar with the ATS rules, take a peek at the rules summary page. 

We're working on some big updates for the ATS web site, with new features and functionality.  Yes, we know we've been saying that for 10 15 16 17 18 25+ years, it's just that we work at a government pace. The 2025 season will be the last one on this platform, the ducktape and chicken wire just aren't holding anymore.  By next year we should be on a more modern platform.

Here we go again, another year of PlayATS! . This year really snuck up on us! What will the 2025 season bring us in football?   Well, this is the second year of the 12 team playoff. We know the Buckeyes win it all every time the collge football format changes, but is this the first time ever the Buckeyes repeat? Will they manage to beat the cheaters up North this year? The CFB field is more wide open than ever, with vegas odds for the top 10 teams in a very small range. The Buckeyes slightly derailed the Arch for Heisman campaign and slowed down the Texas hype train, but something tells me the Bucks and Longhorns could meet again. Bama just laid a giant egg, while LSU and Miami made strong week 1 statements. For the NFL, could this be the year the Brownies pull it together?? Ah, common, I can't even type that with a straight face (spoiler: the answer is "no"). Like the sun rising in the East, death and taxes you can count on the Browns being terrible and the Bengals finding a way to blow it at some point. Will the Steelers make a run with old man Rogers at the helm, or will the Eagles run it back? Will Mahomes throw enough TD's to Travis Swift to bring the superbowl tropy back to KC?
